Abortion, Morality, and the Law
This is an interesting article because enhancing discussion of abortion is paramount; the development of life is a spectrum, and the validation of life in all its forms is as important as acknowledging that the life—experience really—of women (mothers, would-be-mothers, victims of sexual violence, etc.) is a reflection of this very ability to create it. Of course, I’m still utterly confused when people throw the word ‘morality’ into the discourse, because when no one, neither clergypeople nor scientist nor anyone in between, can unilaterally agree on or prove when a human becomes Human or a sentient being, then I would choose to err on handing over the rights to the human who is definitely fucking alive.
