- Amphibrach: Sounds like (*Imagine a person sighing*) “Oh, Cleo”.
I get confused myself, but only because I assume others know how to do things better. Exchanges go like this, every time:
Person: Hi, how do you say your name?
Rocio: [Amphibrach] Rocío.
Person: Ohh! [Dactyl] ROWWWWcio!
Rocio: Oh—-ok.
Michael just said, “I don’t even remember your name sometimes.” I wasted twenty minutes on this post.
*I had to edit this post, which is a horrible feeling. I thought I was finally getting the hang of meter, after 11 years. But, “No, thank you”, my brain is still saying. Thanks for nothing!
